Glass paint to keep metal surfaces cool

Researchers at John Hopkins University have developed a silica-based paint that reflects sunlight from metal surfaces, keeping them cool and extending their life.


3D Printed house and car integrated energy system

Researchers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory demonstrate how 3D printing can be used to create integrated energy systems to power both homes and transport. The demonstration project developed a bi-directional wireless charger to transfer energy between the house and the car.


Smog Vacuum turns waste carbon into jewellery

Designers and Researchers in the Netherlands have developed the world’s largest “smog vacuum cleaner. Designers are using compressed waste from the machine to produce jewellery.
